But first.... I am SO EXCITED to bring you a really

Where Were You In October 1969?
In 1969 I was nine years old. I had already seen a man walk on
the moon. I had seen my older friends eyes fade from the heroin in their blood. I had
watched as world leaders were assassinated. I had read my brothers homesick letters sent
from across the world in Viet Nam.....
......and I suppose, I had done my first production piece.

At 9 years old in October
1969 I spent 3 days recording family voices to send to my brother in Viet Nam. In 2006 it was privately produced as "Audio Letters From Viet
Nam" ....

The point is that young people, whether in 1969 or 2009, can do some amazing things......
This month, I was compelled to share these
thoughts with you because I believe that CHILDREN are the next big buzz! .......
.............. and that’s why I’ve taken to working with
them (and as them) for some years now.

night of the feast called Kwanzaa Karamu. Karamu is a communal effort, which encourages
cultural ceremonies.
